We are a small farm that started with horses. The horses were mostly for pleasure. Over the years we have grown little by little. We now have chickens, goats, ducks, Guinea fowl, cattle ,dogs, cats and of course we still have the horses. We enjoy all of the animals so I guess they are all still for pleasure but every one of them has a purpose here on the farm.
Here is where you can learn where we are now and see where we are going.
We currently have only five horses. We are working on a new training program and hope to add a few more. Two of these have been born here and will die here with us. Our old man has been here for about eleven years, he will never leave here. The others haven't even been here a year but seem to like their new home.
We have some big plans. We are taking it slow and planning well. We are hoping to get some horses ready to be lesson horses and teach basic riding lessons. We are also hoping to start training horses. We are going to start milking our Dexter cow and the goats before too long.
The best part of living on the farm and running a homestead is the hard work that is so very rewarding. We call them chores but we enjoy them so it doesn't feel like work. It keeps us healthy and teaches the littles so much responsibility and more valuable lessons than I can list.
Some fun on the farm.
I have always had a love for animals, all animals, but horses were my favorite. When the kids were young we got a pony and they were hooked. We've had many different types of animals. The kids all learned to love or hate the work. All the kids have grown and gone, but one came back and we are building this together. We also have my elderly mom living on the farm as well. The littles are learning so much about family having four generations here on the farm. The other kids don't live here but they do lend a hand when needed and so do the grandkids.

We are a working farm and pretty busy. We also have outside jobs. Leave of a message, text us, or drop us an email. Your best bet is to text.
